"The underpinning technologies used in food manufacture can be complex, and successful implementation requires insight and understanding. Our ongoing research aids the development of this essential knowledge so that we are always able to provide appropriate skills. The practical application and translation of the technical data provides members with opportunities for huge cost-saving potential with an associated increase in profitability.

Our approach to optimisation is practical and cost-effective. The objective may be to improve process efficiency or to improve product quality. We use the most appropriate tools for the job, drawing on a wide range of disciplines, expertise and techniques to achieve the desired result. Furthermore, independent research into novel processing methods helps improve on existing systems.

Our focus on processing safety and efficiency is complemented by a full HACCP advisory, training and auditing programme for food operations worldwide, from raw materials to processed product."
