John Hammond, Campden BRI
A food scientist by training, John Hammond is Head of Information and Legislation at Campden BRI.
He is responsible for the provision of technical information services, including advice, publications and training on food law to Campden BRI´s 1700 member companies.
In 1995, the Flour Milling and Baking Research Association (FMBRA) based in Chorleywood joined the Campden Food and Drink Research Association thus forming CCFRA. The subsequent merger with BRI led to the formation of Campden BRI. John was Assistant Director, Communications at FMBRA and moved with the merger. Prior to joining FMBRA, John worked for eleven years at the Food and Drink Federation, where he was concerned with the development of many aspects of food legislation
