Sue Emond, Campden BRI

Sue Emond has worked for Campden BRI since 1991. Initially working in the area of aseptic processing and carrying out many contract trials for members in this area, Sue extended her thermal process experience into batch processes carrying out research projects and process validation trials world wide.

Sue started working with HACCP and quality systems in the mid 1990’s and is an approved trainer for both the RIPH and RSPH from Basic to Advanced level. She has been involved in training and the development of HACCP systems for large and small manufacturers throughout the UK.

Sue is a food safety auditor, having previously audited against the EFSIS standard inspecting food manufacturing establishments and now for troubleshooting audits and the HACCP Certification scheme.

In 2003, Sue was joint winner of the Marks and Spencer Millennium Team Prize in recognition of her work within the thermal processing field at Campden BRI.
