Terry Sharp, Campden BRI
Terry Sharp is a Chemistry graduate and subsequently obtained his Ph.D. in flavour development, which was sponsored by the UK confectionery industry.
He worked for 10 years in R&D at United Biscuits in a variety of technical development roles, including bakery research development.
He then joined a start-up company to lead the technical development of a new food, Quorn. His role expanded to Regulatory Affairs and Quality Control manager.
He was Head of the Baking and Cereals Processing Department at Campden BRI, where he lead a team of scientists, technologists and bakers, giving support to the world-wide cereals based industries, which includes technical input, NPD and training.
