Many companies are now seeking independent, third party verification of their HACCP systems. To assist with this CCFRA has published a standard - against which HACCP systems can be audited - and a protocol which defines how the standard should be used in practice. Both documents are available separately or can be purchased as a pair at a reduced price. Discounts are also available on simultaneous purchase of multiple copies of either document. CCFRA HACCP Auditing StandardIssue 1 (2003) Presenting HACCP in a format that is fully compatible with HACCP: a practical guide, this document defines the requirements that a food company needs to fulfil in order to obtain independent, third party recognition of their HACCP system. Aimed particularly at food companies that wish to establish or audit a HACCP system against a recognised independent standard, this standard is available for use by anyone who needs to provide a comprehensive basis upon which to judge the efficacy of a HACCP system. It is also used as the basis for CCFRA’s independent HACCP certification scheme. Protocol for CCFRA Auditing Standard Issue 1 (2003) This protocol describes the processes associated with audits carried out against the CCFRA HACCP Auditing Standard. It outlines the procedures that must be followed by the certification body and defines the processes the food operation must follow to achieve accreditation against the standard. It should be read and used in conjunction with the CCFRA HACCP Auditing Standard HACCP Auditing Standard and Protocol These two documents can be purchased as a pair at a reduced price |
