Chair: Jeremy Pickering, Puratos Group Technical Secretary: Dr. Anton Alldrick Although primarily focussed on the activities of the Cereals and Cereal Processing Division, this panel, comprising plant breeders, millers, bakers, allied traders and retailers, interacts with the full range of RA activities. It is a major forum for the discussion of cereals research and related services at the RA and elsewhere, as described in its Principal Areas of Interest The panel has a series of Working Parties which address the full range of activities associated with cereal products, including: milling; wheat and flour testing; bread; flour confectionery and biscuits and extruded foods. Well-established industry proficiency schemes are coordinated by the Wheat and Flour Testing Working Group, which also oversees the evaluation of new cereal-testing instruments and validation of new methods.
