The Meat and Poultry Panel was established in 2005 following the success of the CCFRA Meat Forum (established 2000) and reflecting the requirement for increased CCFRA research and services in this product sector. The panel activity is applicable to manufacturers, retailers, packaging and ingredient suppliers, food service providers and any member involved in the meat and poultry chain. Panel interests are wide ranging, from slaughter through to the use of meat and poultry as commodities or as ingredients in added value products.
