The Manufacturing Processes Panel provides an important focus for the manufacturing and engineering interests of the food industry to meet and discuss common issues and to select and direct relevant aspects of the RA´s research programme as outlined in our Principal Areas of Interest.

Whilst RA-funded projects with a major engineering input fall under the panel´s direct remit, a number of projects with a relatively minor but still important engineering input are also discussed. New ideas for research and development projects are presented regularly in order to stimulate discussion and to ensure that they reflect industrial needs.
