Making food is what it's all about. And there are many ways to go about it. From the preservation processes of heating, chilling, freezing and drying, to the 'nuts and bolts' of ingredient preparation, product formulation and packaging development, Campden BRI has expertise in all aspects of food manufacturing.

Where would we be without the microwave oven? - much of the pioneering work on the development of foods suitable for microwave processing was done here. We are now particularly involved in evaluating other novel methods of food manufacturing - such as high-pressure processing.
