Shelf-life extension of packed fish

Campden BRI has undertaken trials demonstrating how the use of soluble gas stabilisation(SGS) can extend shelf-life of trout fillets and reduce the potential for pack collapse associated with conventional modified atmosphere packing of fish products.

The details of the research are available only to members of Campden BRI, though we welcome enquires on how we can apply technology to specific product types on behalf of members or non-members.
