Label review services As product development cycles get shorter, there is an increasing need for a timely, accurate, authoritative and interpretative service, to help ensure that product labels not only meet legal requirements, but also take full account of the considerable array of formal and informal guidance which covers many aspects of food labelling and presentation. CCFRA’s label review service can help you achieve this for the UK market in a cost effective and flexible manner. Working at any stage, from a development brief to finished artwork, we can advise on product formulation, so that names, claims and descriptions are supportable. As the process moves forward, we can review any or all of the specific aspects of a food label; comment on their acceptability; forewarn of potential difficulties; and suggest practical alternatives. In addition, we will draw attention to any related forthcoming rule changes. The service is delivered by CCFRA’s food law advisory team, which is widely recognised for its food labelling expertise and whose views are well-respected and frequently sought throughout the supply chain. Reviews can also be undertaken for North American markets. Label review: client benefits
Label reviews’ highly competitive charges are based on individually-prepared quotations that accurately reflect the nature, size and complexity of each assignment. As a result, clients often benefit substantially from the savings which can arise when related product labels are examined. Tailored quotations can be provided on request; for an informal discussion, contact: legislation@campden.co.uk |
