Seminar overview and contact details
International Food Microbiology Conference, 24-26 November 2010
Campden BRI, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, GL55 6LD, UK
Benefits of attending
Bacillus species are commonly found within the environment and can be associated with significant problems in foods. Reliable identification of the organism is paramount, with some species being associated with food poisoning whilst others pose a spoilage threat to foods.
This one day seminar with presentations from experts in the field is intended to arm microbiologists, Technical Managers and processing and quality teams involved in food production with a broad knowledge of the microbiological issues relating to Bacillus species.
Event Director: Leonie Watson
Seminar content in brief
– Food poisoning Bacillus species
– Food spoilage through Bacillus growth and enzyme production
– Processing considerations for Bacillus species
– Heat resistance characteristics of Bacillus species
