"Supermarket shelves are stocked with a variety and abundance of products which have never been seen before. Some of the larger retailers stock over 20,000 product lines. To ensure that the marketplace remains ‘fresh’ and provides consumers with varied choice, new products are constantly added to the food sector but success is limited, especially within the first year of launch.
This course provides an overview of the role of the product developer/food technologist and takes delegates through the various stages in the development process, to optimise their efforts and improve the likelihood of success."
