Benefits of attending
Once implemented, a HACCP-based system needs to be verified. Internal audits are vital elements of a food operation´s verification activities. An understanding of the benefits of auditing and key aspects in the internal auditing of HACCP systems will enable those responsible to use auditing effectively in the maintenance of their food safety management system, and to demonstrate their knowledge and competency.
Delegates will gain an introduction to the auditing of HACCP systems to add to their existing HACCP knowledge. It is therefore desirable that delegates have previously attended 'HACCP - foundation' or 'HACCP – intermediate (workshop)' courses or equivalent.
