Who should attend

Anyone from an organisation in the food supply chain who needs to lead audits and audit teams where there is a requirement to audit food safety management systems against ISO 22000.

Previous experience

It is a requirement that delegates have previously successfully completed an Intermediate Level (3) HACCP training course, or equivalent

  –principles and processes for assessment of food safety hazards
  –importance of aligning food safety specific controls with other general management system controls
  –continual improvement

• The audit process
  –preparing for and conducting an audit
  –audit reporting
  –corrective action and follow up
  –ISO 19011

• ISO 22000 Requirements
  –scope of a FSMS
  –management responsibility
  –resource management
  –planning and realisation of safe products
  –verification, validation and improvement of the FSMS

• The certification requirements to become a registered auditor/lead auditor

This course is intensive and highly participative. It includes a challenging case study to develop key audit skills
