Why attend:
The ISO 9000:2000 series are the standards on which quality management systems are based in many companies worldwide. The course is suitable for delegates wishing to understand, install or audit quality management systems based on the ISO 9000:2000 series of standards.

Course content:

  • The ISO 9001 Standard
  • Planning your system
  • Planning, preparing and conducting audits
  • Managing quality meetings
  • Auditing techniques and interviewing skills
  • Presenting audit findings – opening, review and closing meetings
  • Determining effective corrective action
  • Continuous improvement

The course is highly participative and includes role play exercises, practical audit experience on food industry equipment and associated documentation, plus an examination on the final day.

Numbers on each course are limited in accordance with the IRCA criteria. (IRCA references 17076 and 2245)

"This course provides delegates with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2000 and the audit process through the use of a case study based on a food operation."
