CCFRA has been commissioned to train M&S suppliers in monitoring and managing sensory quality of products. The aim of the course is to provide the suppliers with the necessary knowledge and tools to achieve and measure a consistently high standard of manufactured product quality on a daily basis. Coverage ranges from the background physiology of sensory perception to the practicalities of sensory testing facilities, methods and data handling.

Delegates leave with a strong appreciation of the importance of sensory assessment in checking product quality and a range of practical tips for supporting the implementation of good practice. This is reinforced with a CD-ROM 'toolkit' to help them achieve an auditable standard.
