Campden Day provides members with the opportunity to:

  • Meet and talk to staff about the benefit of CCFRA's work to their business


  • View over 50 commercially relevant displays in the laboratories and process halls which are open from 9am to 4pm


  • Network with suppliers, customers and other colleagues in the food and drink industry


  • Attend the Annual Campden Lecture - this year being presented by Iain Ferguson, Chief Executive of Tate & Lyle PLC since 2003. Iain has extensive experience in the branded food and agri-processing industries, having joined Unilever in 1977. In 1995 he was made Executive Chairman of Birds Eye Walls. From April 2001, he was Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development of Unilever PLC/NV responsible for corporate strategy and new business development throughout Unilever. Iain is President of the Institute of Grocery Distribution; Vice-President of the Food & Drink Federation; and Non-Executive Director of the British Nutrition Foundation. He is also a Director of the Rothamsted Research Station and a Non-Executive Director of Sygen International PLC. Iain was awarded a CBE in 2003.
