Determining the energy used and cost for cooking a range of foods in domestic appliances

Many consumers are considering the cost of cooking food products at home, as well as which appliances and methods may help them to minimise these costs.

With little guidance currently available to consumers as to the cost of cooking the food products that they purchase, the aim of this project was to generate a service that measures the energy usage, and therefore the cost, associated with cooking instructions.
