At Campden BRI, we’re always exploring new and emerging process technologies and work with manufacturers to access these technologies for their testing and training needs. We have a selection of core technologies we have on site and we routinely obtain other new technologies onsite for companies to access and test.
We are always looking for new technologies to assess the possible benefits for commercial use. If you have a technology you think will benefit the industry, do get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.

Key services
Validation of new technologies
At Campden BRI, we have a biosafety level 2 laboratory where we can independently challenge test many of our new technologies with pathogenic organisms with worst case parameters to help companies generate the right validation data.
Consultancy and training
With our vast experience of new technologies, our teams are well suited to offer consultancy and training on a range of new technologies or on a sector-specific area where these technologies may benefit, or training on one particular technology in greater detail.
Feasibility testing and benchmarking
We can assess the feasibility of new technologies with a range of products. Our range of other equipment also allows companies to benchmark processes against some established methods to truly understand all the benefits.
Modelling
Decrease the cost of R&D with our computer modelling software and expertise. We have a wide range of computer calculation tools to help you solve problems before you encounter them.

About Danny Bayliss
After finishing his PhD in cold plasma technology, Danny joined Campden BRI where he has been in various new technology roles since 2012. Danny currently explores future trends and technology developments where he works with spin off, startups and equipment companies to explore commercial applications or develop technologies for industrial future needs. Danny manages more complex contract trials and works on bigger research projects with multiple consortium members.

Where we refer to UKAS Accreditation
The Campden BRI group companies listed below are both accredited in accordance with the recognised International Standard ISO17025:2017 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope of methods, specific to each site, as detailed in the schedules of accreditation bearing the testing laboratory number. The schedules may be revised from time to time and reissued by UKAS. The most recent issue of the schedules are available from the UKAS website www.ukas.com
